Bio: 

Celebrations.com is a website startup owned by 1-800-Flowers.com, but working independently. Celebrations.com provides ideas and planning tools for parties, holidays and events. Our vision is to make Celebrations the go-to media brand for any kind of festive get-together.

We want people to find more reasons to celebrate with each other throughout the year and whether those celebrations are for 2 people or for 200 people, we want to offer them the tools necessary to make it a little more special.

Our site offers expert tips and advice from celebrity caterers, party experts, bakers and party designers. And, come fall, will include planning tools, invitations and community areas and a web store.

Additional Info: 

This is a hands-on internship. No sitting around making copies and answering phones. We want creative, smart interns who are ready to learn every aspect of the online business while working for a great website in its early stages.

Responsibilities:

• producing and editing content on the site
• blogging
• using social media tools
• communicating with bloggers and writers
• online marketing
• product research
• research and database creation
• knowledge with HTML is a plus but not required
• client prospecting

We’re looking for outgoing and personable interns who want to get involved on the editorial, marketing and business side of a great internet company. There is no coffee and file cabinets here and interns should come to work and have fun!

College Lifestyles Advertising Internship

Bio: 

College Lifestyles (TM) is a nutrition, lifestyle, and etiquette firm devoted to savvy co-eds and sorority ladies!

College Lifestyles ™ focuses on:
• Nutrition. Living and eating well as a savvy co-ed!
• Lifestyle. Poise and presence of a co-ed!
• Image/Fashion. Positive body image and dressing to shine!
• Etiquette. Living and acting classy (not trashy!)!

Additional Info: 

Responsibilities include:
1) Developing spreadsheets of advertisers for our website/newsletter specifically related to our brand. We at College Lifestyles take a ‘grassroots’ approach on advertising and encourage you to ‘think outside the box!’

2) Examples of advertising list include:
- Local boutiques. (example - Franchesca’s Collections)
- Shoe companies (local/regional)
- Makeup/beauty shop (local/regional)
- T-Shirt/graphic companies
- Go Green companies
- Anything to do with College/Co-Ed (messenger bags)

3) Once identified, develop a ‘personalized’ paragraph on how the product can BENEFIT college students.

4) Work closely with our Marketing Director to pitch to the company.

Hours: 
5-10 hours/per week
