Stand Up 2 Cancer an entertainment based non profit is looking for an all star marketing intern to help with our digital marketing campaign leading up to our September 10th live broadcast.

Looking for college students (preferably Seniors) with concentration in marketing, communication, journalism and media.Candidate must have a very good understanding of basic marketing principles. Candidate should understand social media - Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, Digg and other social media circles.
Outgoing personality and passion for engaging in online conversations.

Great writing skills and ability to create compelling tweets, status updates, facebook posts and comments.Understanding of e-blasts and blogs helpful.

Additional Info: 

Intern duties would include errands, updating posts, phone calls. Intern expected to work 3-5 days per week. College credit available.

Participant Media Development Summer 2010 Internship

Bio: 

Participant Media is seeking students interested in learning first hand about the fast paced and demanding work of a multimedia company. Working closely with the assistant to the President, interns will actively aid the development process by conducting issue-based research, reviewing submitted material, and completing comprehensive script coverage. Interns will gain practical experience and advice in how to succeed in the entertainment industry…the real-world lessons that can’t be learned in a classroom. This office is seeking a student who demonstrates an enthusiasm to learn and a willingness to take part.

Epix HD Programming and Development Internship

Bio: 

EPIX is a joint venture between Viacom, (Paramount, MTV) Lionsgate and MGM Studios, and is a multi-platform premium cable channel providing exclusive premium programming on air, online and on demand. EPIX’s original programming will include music & comedy specials, original series, mini-series and documentaries. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to assisting the Associate Manager of Original Programming and Development and Executive Assistant as well as the Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development. Duties will include answering phones, filing, faxing, photocopying, errands/deliveries, conducting research as directed, and script coverage.

Looking for a quarterly Spring intern to start on April 1st.

This internship must be for academic credit. Candidate should have strong computer skills and be proficient in PC and Macintosh, Microsoft Office and other programs. MUST be detail oriented, eager to learn and efficient, with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to multi-task; take initiative, be naturally curious, fun loving as well as trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information. Interest in development is a plus.

Trend Hunter Journalism Internship

Bio: 

Journalist internships are a big deal at TREND HUNTER Magazine. Rather than fetching coffee or making copies, our interns are the heart and soul of our publication. As a key part of our team, interns will build 1000+ article portfolios and build skills that set them up for success in the wonderful world of publishing.

Our interns learn a curriculum that covers writing, editing, online publishing, PR, online marketing, SEO, social media, and trend research. These skills are heavily sought after by employers who are desperately trying to understand the online media space.
Over the course of a semester, our goal is for each intern to have a rockin' time while building a portfolio of 1,000+ published articles in fashion, design, pop culture, technology and advertising.
After a 1-2 months of learning the ropes, our interns get to drive exciting projects, which have included: TV Scriptwriting, Celebrity Interviews, Publicity Stunt Design, PR Launch Strategies, and Trend Report Research.

Bio: 

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is a political committee devoted to increasing the 178-member Republican Conference in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The NRCC's origins date back to 1866, when the Republican caucuses of the House and Senate formed a "Congressional Committee." Today, the NRCC supports the election of Republicans to the House through direct financial contributions to candidates and Republican Party organizations; technical and research assistance to Republican candidates and Party organizations; voter registration, education and turnout programs; and other Party-building activities.
The NRCC is governed by its chairman, U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions (TX-32), and an executive committee composed of Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
