i am that girl launched a national program called that girl goes local. that girl goes local is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive community of women around weekly meetings, with lively discussions and monthly events. Your role will be to assist overseeing, directing and recruiting for the program. You will maintain contact with a number of chapters providing guidance and acting as the liaison between the Director of that girl goes local and the chapter leaders. You will gain real, hands on experience managing a nation-wide program.

Good organizational and leadership skills are essential!!! You must also have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a strong ability to take initiative and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

You will be creating graphics to fit the i am that girl brand and collaborating on images and text that will move and inspire our reach. We need a Passionista who brings their own vision to each project and has the heart to join our team and rock this world.

Excellent graphic design/web skills. Must be skilled in Photoshop and have an artistic eye that can create graphics to fit our brand. Must be willing to collaborate and work as a team as well as individually. We need someone who can meet deadlines, demonstrate a strong ability to take initiative and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Web design/programming skills are a big plus!

Marie Claire Magazine is currently seeking interns for Summer/Fall 2010 in its advertising department. Interns will support current assistant and the Southwest advertising director.
